for two elections to take place you will need two parliaments and two senates. I don't see anything here that suggests they are creating a parallel list of MP's or senators.

and where will the election of sheikh shariif take place? it certainly wont be in the parliament building and where are the MP's coming from? none of the FMS states have participated with the MP's sheikh shariff will need to grab from the streets of Mogadishu.

If Farmajo can't win over 50% of the lawmakers' support in the first round of the upcoming presidential election then he will 100% not be reelected.....this is what happened with all other presidents before him as they failed to get reelected

but the international community is not stupid. Somalia had an election committee that was independent from the government and was governed by xaalimo yare. It was the opposition that refused her and asked the FMS and FSG to change her plan and the committee's outcome of 1m1v.

all i see here is what was being rumored the last 2 months actually being true

the rumor was that the opposition don't have any money whatsoever and are seeking the government to postpone the elections. all I see here is just a tactic to delay the elections. same-way a parallel election did not take place in HS/GM/HS a parallel election will not take place in Somalia.

even if a parallel election takes place it won't mean anything and in-fact would benefit the government.
