Suicide Bombing in Tigray; IGAD Summit in Djibouti; Potential Tribal War in Somalia

Post by Jabuutawi »

Conflagration of Horn of Africa is imminent unless cooler heads prevail.

Tigray suicide bomber killed over 70 Ethiopian troops yesterday, according to some news outlets. Things really don’t look promising for Abiy Ahmed however he spins this war. Somalis should be ready for any eventuality. Bad news or not, what’s happening in northern Ethiopia will impact us all. I despise Tigray and Amharas equally.

IGAD summit was held in Djibouti, its headquarters, today and heads of states of the horn were present. It was chaired by IOG.

Seems like Kenya is accelerating its provocation of the situation in southern Somalia. Both side are gearing up for war using proxy armed men to do their bidding.

Meanwhile, breakaway region of northern Somalia is desperate for any diplomatic relationship inviting Malawi to its ‘capital’. Malawi is known to trade in tobacco and hashis in the open as well as global black markets.

There's no tribal war in southern Somalia. It is Kenya trying to annex Jubbaland and build a buffer zone against NFD due to it's historic Somaliphobia. I would request you change the title. Thanks.
