The FGS Information minister made a statement about this farce and said clearly that it is false allegations with no truth. It looks like it originated from the same corrupted sources that said somali soldiers were fighting in Libya as well.

Sxb the proof of burden is on Dowlada. 4500 soldiers got sent to Eritrea. Gov need to proof these men are still alive. There are parents all over social media crying since they haven't been in contact with their kids since 2019.

There is no burden of proof here, this was a shady allegation made through social media not a court of law. The government acted in good faith by even responding to these fake allegations even though there was no onus on them to do so. It was proven to be falsified and those soldiers are still training in Eritrea they signed up for the training and their parents are aware of that, and any that aren't or are confused should reach out to the appropriate channels and not fall victim to social media vultures looking to profit from their stories.

Furthermore their location and numbers are not publicly disclosable information since it is tied to national security and will remain that way. I'm satisfied with the statement made by the FGS Information minister and won't buy into allegations made by a desperate opposition that have proven to not be trustworthy.

Even though I don't support Farmaajo and believe the guy has some disability, I think this story is bogus. For one, Ethiopia has one of the biggest armies in Africa, and with the support of Eritrean troops, there has never been a need for the Somali forces. With the exemption of bordering Amhara militia, Ethiopia has not even utilized the powerful regional Liyuuu police forces. common sense should prevail!
