PM Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia is Dead

Post by Jabuutawi »

You heard it here first. He was shot multiple times by an Amhara who was in return shot dead by one of Abiy’s Oromo bodyguards.

Meanwhile, Deputy PM and foreign minister (an Amhara ultra-regionalist) is saber-rattling in the media. He wants to arm all Amharas IDPs from Beninshugul-Gumuz region to retake lost land and leadership and return of old Abyssinia Amhara rule.

House of Federation president, Aden Farah Ibrahim, in no uncertain terms, vigorously responded to the deputy PM’s belligerent statement. Specifically if Amhara militants are armed, Somali and Oromo regions will have ownership of their security by forming defensive forces of their own.

Ethiopia is imploding at last.

Again, Ethiopia’s PM has been killed by a militant Amhara ultra-regionalist disguised as a nationalist.

You will regret your support for Abiy who is the most nationalistic ruler of Ethiopia since Mengistu lol.

It would be believable if you said a vengeful TPLF loyalist or even an angry Gumuz or disaffected Bale/Hararge Oromo.

The last plausible reason is an Amhara nationalist. They're literally existentially dependent on him for their resurgence. Without Abiy who lrgitimized their regional force as national paramilitary to help with Tigray War, the Amhara risk a Hotel Rwanda style gangup by all of Ethiopia's different nations at the mere whisper of their resurgence.

You already see how the Gumuz, the most powerless of Ethiopia historically are today exacting untold horrors on the Amhara and Shinasha settlers in Benishungul.... not to mention the brutality the Qerroo movement committed against them in places like Shashamene after Huchallu's killing.

Abiy probably is just avoiding cameras because the optics of Tigray got from bad to worse.

Why are the fanboys of Mooge Farmajo suddenly pro Ethiopia just because Abiy apparently supports a strong central government in Mogadishu led by ina Cheese?

Abiy wants to turn the other countries of the Horn into de facto Ethiopian kilils and Mooge accepts this in return for having control over all of Somalia

However such control would ultimately be located in Addis and Mooge would be nothing more than a glorified Abdi Iley albeit nominally 'sovereign'

Bigbreak,

Kindly spare me your inauthenticity. I have always found myself bored with superficiality so I prefer not to even acknowledge it as you may have found puzzling. I only even disclaim this to you because your instigation has become acute. You see people like you and Old Dervish, etc are not any less agreeable to me than a member like Abkoow, but Abkoow and I come FOR discussion be what it may lead to; you come as a reactionary----driven her by who or what you are AGAINST. Inevitably, it is always instigating.

I don't care for it. Spare me the unrequested attention. I have checked out of living rent free in any random online person's head. Any such person can play with their created delusions---by themselves, over there.

Prime Minister Abby Axmed won nobel peace prize for ending hostilities with Eritrea and stopping interference in Somali regional politics. He continues to crush his enemies at home i.e Tigray war and is also tackling the Sudan border crisis. Hell he even broke the detente with Kenya to destabilize Somalia and even met them at the border in Moyaale to stop the Borana Kenys conflict.

Edit: Fake news hes fine

Horta Voltage is there something wrong with you kķk...I know you are stressing since Failmaajo is on his way out leading to the resumption of reer ilkoyar being utterly irrelevant but your diatribe really is stupid for two reasons which are
1. I didn't mention your name so you didn't need to respond as if you are a paranoid neef that takes anything so personally
2. You haven't addressed my point which means you don't disagree with me - you try but fail miserably to act like an intellectual

Go back to the sewage drain you crawled out of. Dismissed

A person who doesn't know much about Ethiopian chronicles and empires should avoid commenting on the current situation. While the TPLF took advantage of the collapsed Somali government, they brought nothing new but instead followed the strategies laid for them by the successive Amhara leadership before them; Haile Sallasie and Mengistu. Mengistu hosted every single clan-based Somali movement in Ethiopia, even after signing the bilateral agreement with Somalia to not support opposition groups back in the mid-1980s. And Melez just followed his footsteps in keeping Somalia in turmoil for that long.

Yes, the minority TPLF government was cruel and committed atrocities, but thanks to karma, they are now paying the price for that. In the long run, the Amhara wants to bring their imperialism in the horn. Luckily for them, they found their messiah in the form of Abiy, who believes the Gospel will resolve all of Ethiopia's problems.

Amhara hardcore nationalists are mad at him because he's not moving fast enough to constrain all the non-Amhara communities, including the Benisshangul Gumuz and the Gambbela. Have you, guys, seen the recent videos of the Amhara religious festival in JigJiga? Please look for that.

As usual, Voltage sees things from one perspective: his Uncle Farmaajo, whose time is up anyway.

Great analysis Guhad and yes I saw the pictures of Amhara strutting their stuff celebrating Orthodox Christmas in Jijiga in their hundreds at the very least.....a truly shocking situation

Even Landers who are pro independence like myself don't trust Abiy and his messianic ambitions for the Horn region. We don't want to be part of Ethiopia anymore than we want unity with Somalia
