Radio Garowe is going to help Farmajoo by playing names of 1991 genocide victims

Post by SunFromNorth »

Radio Garowe is going to help Farmajoo the coming days by reminding the Majeetein population that he is a fellow Darod and they all shared a fate of genocide in 1991. By playong the names of 8000 MJ killed in 1991 Beenadiir. This will create a hatred of Hawiye politicans and unite the people of Puntland behind Farmajoo. This guy Farmajoo is not smart if he played on 1991 emotions he will had the MJ eat Deni alive. The same with Jubbaland.

There is no longer a 1991, we are never going back to that dark past. Playing on qabiil emotions is long gone, it's vision and policies which work right now.

The presumption that another 1969 would lead to another 91 is flawed. No one has stomach for the civil war between the rebels, chaos, lawlessness, famine, etc of post 91. If the people had a choice, they would rather choose 1969 than 91. No one trusts armed rebels, especially ones that failed to form a government, fought each other, caused mass famine, rape, destruction, etc.

Forget 1969, when Somalia had institutions, safety, and was on a upward trajectory. People in Mogadishu prefer the current Government that is struggling to reestablish Governance. Vinshor is in the West, enjoying a comfortable life. When I say the people of Mogadishu I’m referring to the people in Mogadishu, not diaspora thinking this is a video game.
