There's asterisk on the 3 presidential ones, 'cause it happened with expired parliament, plus observers have noted it wasn't clean/transparent. In the last one, the leader of one of the parties stated the election was stolen from his party. The truth is SL's system isn't democracy. For instance, it's illegal to form a 4th political party, making it a two-party duopoly, with the third acting as a kickback for one of the others. A delay of 16 years only happened in SL, nonetheless, it's never too late.

Conservatives vote republican and liberals vote democrat. That gays vote liberal and ethnic minorities. The bible bashers vote republican.
