If you tracking migration I worked it out already
1. Move south from present day Sanaag to Nugaal
2. Move from Nugaal to Central regions further south
3. Move from central regions to the west
4. split into two move back east into central regions
4. other groups move south from harar
5. split again in first group move west into Doollo
5. move south into Jubboyinka
6. move back east into Dhusomaareb
then you have a rough idea, with or without dates. its not so much as moving by the way, instead its contracting and expanding, the central point will always be a place known as Mareexaan fariisye which is North West of present day Wardheer.

Not necessarily.
The reason why I did not post the 17th century source yet is because the details are often overlooked missing the point.
1. Do you understand the importance of Ballow first? Both to Eritrea and the Beni Amir in particular as well as in the context of the Futuh?
1. Do you understand the importance and historical significance of the Doba/Dobas as an indigenous Muslim community of the historical red sea?
We are going to have an interactive session for this. No necessarily huge response.
I really want you guys to quickly search basic generalities about those two groups and give me even a sentence or less if you want so I can understand where you are at in understanding the context.

This is one of those great old historic gems that show what I mean about the Doba.
They occupy that nice, tight area around great Massaua to Shiniile area occupied by today's Afar triangle
Notice also that interesting little gem FIAO close by?
Just one of those too many coincidences I bet

Did you just discover Facaye ? Fiao = Facayo = Facaye Sade
they are probably long gone from that area now though.
