TPLF and OLF forces converge on Oromia border and ready for AddisAbba showdown!

Post by sahal80 »

55 km between TPLF and OLF after the capture of Kombolcha 15 km south of Dessie

Tigrays have more military experience than Abiys Amharic militias as they made their Way to South Wollo zone close to the Oromo frontier to meet there the Oromo OLF troops.
If you look at the military map you would think that Abiy militias could besiege TPLF if they attack them from behind but the high speed with which the TPLF moves towards the Oromia border out rules this scenario wich happened in Syria after the Russian intervention. miskiin Abiy needs Russian experts!.

let Ethippia burn!

In 91 the Ethiopian Tigrays were allied with the Eritreans and now with the Oromos and Abiy Ahmed faces the same scenario as Mengistu which is to flee before the fall of Addis Ababa. An official From TPLF was asked if they were ready for negotiations and he said "Which negotiations?" The war is over!

Ustaad sahal will this mean that tplf is back, the same tplf that fought against Somalia's stability.... or will this mean Tigray + oromo alliance wil balkanize Ethiopia this time?

Tigray tplf back in power will mean another centralized meles type Ethiopia, which is bad for Somalia as we saw in the past 20 years with meles.

Dessie, after weeks of heavy fighting between TDF and ENDF, was captured just two days ago by TDF. It is all but over for Abiy's regime. It is basically straight line to Addis. Dessie is located in Wollo Zone of Amhara region. It is primarily Oromo settlers, and Muslim zone.

This was a strategic move by the TDF to put all their effort in capturing Dessie and not bother with recapturing western Tigray from Eritrea and FANO (Amhara) extremists. It finally paid off and the domino effect is as clear as day; Eritreans retreat, Addis is on TDF's crosshair, Abiy flees.

Due to northern frontier pressure, ENDF stationed in Afar region and western Sitti have been called up and vacated the area. Afars without their Qooti protectors have fled the border. The place is devoid of federal and state (Afar Liyu) soldiers. Unfortunately Ciise nomads, who initially got assistance from Somali Liyu until Cagjar was scolded by Addis, are on their own to take back the land. No more dependence on so-called Somali region's government, an impotent government, that values other ethnicities more than its own.

Abiy will be brought to justice either inside Ethiopia or the Hague. Cagjar probably flees to Kenya and begs for asylum and for his old NGO job. Aaden Faarax runs to Djibouti. However, with IOG seriously ill with cancer in a Paris hospital receiving chemotherapy, outcome for both men do not look promising.

Important lessons learned in the last 5 years. Expect seismic changes within DDS (especially in super Sitti zone), Djibouti and Ethiopia as a whole.

i said long time ago that I enjoyed the destruction of Tigray mtfkrs at the hands of their planes and the army that they built but all the evidence indicates that they will follow the footsteps of SL to separate from Ethiopia under the pretext of destruction and extermination. Because Ethiopia hosts the AU and was against secession within the continent previously it will lead separatism in many african countries. It is impossible to restore the minority rule in Ethiopia but there will likely be an interim national unity government that will work on self-determination for Tigray to separate from the rest of Ethiopia and focus on Eritrea.

Abiy Ahmed is likely to move to Bahir Dar the capital city of the Amhara region wich is another type of separation.

a war may break out between Somalis, Oromo and Afar who will be outsmarted in this Amhara vs Tigray war like alweys.

Nope sxb, declaring independence was an option previously but not now since they are once again about to rule Ethiopia, they are the undisputed champions of the country, no other ethnic group or combination of ethnic groups can touch Tigray.

Tigray will take this opportunity to cement their dominance in every aspect of Ethiopia. They will punish the big fish but won’t go after the small ones as they can simple rule those however they wish.

This will be a huge disaster for amhara waterboys lile cagjar and his cousin farmaajo.

This is all in all positive news for SL as well.

I do not claim Geybka but you know that the Tigrays handed over power to Abiy of their own free will because they could no longer continue to rule since the death of Melis Zenawi and they were hiding behind the Southern Desalegn and after the uprising they tried with the faux Oromo Abiy but his Amharic relations like his wife ended their role behind the curtain . Now they want to hide behind a real southern or real ormo separatist through a transitional government that decides the fate of the Tigray to become independent from the rest of the country. Egypt and Sudan and Arabs support this bc the Nile source is in Amhara region and goes through amhara so independent tigray is the best for Egypt and Arabs and there is a relationship between the recent victory of the TPLF and the military takeover of power in Sudan because Hamduk is a friend of Abiy so it seems that the army financed the TPLF and provided them with weapons wich is the reason why Egypt welcomed them.

TDF does not hide its separatist intention but the TPLF that leads the local government claims federalism and using the ethiopian constitution to liberate the region on a federal basis and after the war i think they will all seek independence bc Tigray will not have another chance to do independence refrendum and they are too laangaab to rule Ethiopia. things are not like the old days in this digital age. They want a scenario similar to Eritrean independence wich they supported as their ruling ally and then leave Ethiopia for their Oromo allies but im sure Amhara will take over them once Tigray is out.

So Sahal80, why would Egypt support an independent Tigray if that would mean that amxaar get's full control over Ethiopia once the tigrays are out?? And also wouldn't and independent Tigray be vulnerably for it's geographical position, being right in the middle of hostile nations?

The Ethiopian map will change and Tigray will have friendly neighbours such as Djibouti and Sudan and perhaps as they will include weak minorities such as part of Eritrea’s Afar(Assab port) and this will serve Sudan which will get rid of the Amhara farmers in Gedarif on the border but for Djibouti rest of Ethiopia will depend on its port but can live in peace as Eritrea incites the Afar of Djibouti though it will be affected economically. The Amhara settlers have been working for the Sudanese for decades until they took the land. As for Egypt, because the Tigray will secure the Nile and will be close to the dam near Bahir Dar as you can see on the map. this will make it possible for the Egyptian army to invade the dam from Tigray by land. control of the Amhara over the rest of Ethiopia after the independence of Tigray is very relevant because the Oromo are nationalities that share only the language some of them are Muslim in the east and some are Christian in the west and you have pagan in the south so they are unable to rule themselves and if the Amhara do not rule them they will be in complete chaos.

this is not like unilateral declaration of independence like this tweet suggests it will be done through transional Govt in Addis ababa controlled by them with a new Tigay map including most of sudanese border. as for Asab port Ethiopia alweys claims it except under abiy.
