Found an interesting article detailing American interests and motivation in intervening in the Ethiopian conflict.

Re: The US hybrid war against Ethiopia
Interesting analysis that reflects the reality on the ground or what's more likely happening behind the scenes, unlike some FKD 'analysts' here whose analyses are based on their unrealistic hopes & wishful thinkings. The fact is, Ethiopia has powerful patrons that won't let it become weak or a failed state, even if Ethiopia shifts its reliance on the West to Russia/China/Turkey. As long as the shift isn't gonna make Ethiopia weaker than regional rivals, that's all what would matter. Somalis wishing bad on Ethiopia only means they are weak (which is a fact) and are wishfully counting on Ethiopia becoming weaker, and that isn't gonna achieve anything.

When I saw the TPLF bouncing back from being smashed I knew something was afoot.
Furthermore, western media reflects western positions, so the bad press Abiye was getting and the nonsense claims of genocide were instructive.
It seems thecTPLF are back in business......whether the take Addis remains to be seen.....but whatever happens Abiye and the Amhara dream of supremacy is dead in the water.
Somalis can be hopeful that the new emerging Ethiopia will be less centralised and will have greater autonomy.
Hopefully Somalis in Ethiopia can unite under a shared vision for progress.......but u doubt it.

Re: The US hybrid war against Ethiopia
With the imminent toppling of Abiye, Farmaajo and Faqash certainly have a cause for alarm, as they are likely to lose their current status as axmaaro qandhiciley "ally". On the other side, qaldaans, are not only drooling, but even started twerking, in anticipation, at the prospect of regaining their former station as the "preferred" Skinny bitch for the equally repugnant Tigrayans.

⌃ Tigray preferred bitch was tha ex italian colony. u think we forgot they entered tha ex italian colony to protect tha transitional warlord govanment of Abdilahi Yusuf

The Tigrayans opened the first foreign liaison office in WG, so you got it right.barbarossa wrote: Tue Nov 02, 2021 2:06 pm With the imminent toppling of Abiye, Farmaajo and Faqash certainly have a cause for alarm, as they are likely to lose their current status as axmaaro qandhiciley "ally". Protect? Lol, sometimes I wonder if Idoors really are mentally impaired, out of every qabil your kind are the most paranoid, to the point of schizophrenia. TPLF invaded because of troubles back home, they were already amassing their army in DDSI before the government even knew what was going on, you really think Somalis have enough say to ask Ethiopia to do their bidding? Losing tens of thousands in the process? The Ethiopian army got destroyed, that's the real reason they withdrew, I'll make a post soon about this, Abduallahi Yusuf was actually targeted by the U.S and TPLF at the end of his tenure, it was Hawiye who took their side, you Idoors have a lot to learn.TarTar wrote: Tue Nov 02, 2021 2:29 pm ⌃ Tigray preferred bitch was tha ex italian colony. u think we forgot they entered tha ex italian colony to protect tha transitional warlord govanment of Abdilahi Yusuf
