Just like the Ethiopians have been the face of famine and hunger in the 80s, today it’s Somalis who starve every year and need international food aid

Somalia is in such a deplorable condition primarily because of non existent leadership over the last thirty years.

There is absolutely no reason why our citizens should be starving.....we have enough natural and human resources to be easily a middle income country.

Sounds like you have no suggestions other than “sweep it under the rug and hope no one sees it” - this is part of the problem.

We must discuss why this keeps happening when there is arable land more than enough for few million Somalis


The problem also lies with foreign food aid, why would Somalia farm for food when USaid and the EU will feed us - this is the thinking of average Somalis
