Taliban and the afgan government had peace talks before taliban took over the country.
Why have peace talks if your "winning"
Why stop news agencies from reporting on al shabaab? This has never happened before even the west use to show isis propaganda. So what is the government hiding?
Why did the government yesterday say that they killed over 300 shabaab militias then showed pictures of dead corpses which where proven to be fake.
I think this hsm government want to lie its way. No one can question their reporting on al shabaab or they will be labeled as al shabaab. Make outlandish claims regarding taking over territory and killing al shabaab without any 3rd party verification.
This is very dangerous road because al shabaab is real and you can't fake your way out of it.

My take on this is that SFG and Qatar both support The Alshabaab Military leader Mahad Karates take-over of Alshabaab, whereby Qatar is actively and publicly aiding Karate by giving him an international platform and voice with his Political Party Office stationed in Doha.
So in the end whatever side of the Mahads takes over Somalia, one thing is certain that Somalia will finally have an permanent political leaders.
The 2 Mahads are cleaning alshabaab from shisheeye dirs members.

Both mahads are al shabaab and both are not top of the food chain.
Anyway this is the fake news I am talking about being spread by the government. Fiqi still thinks he is some sort of a mucaarid when no one cared about what he wrote on his Facebook page.
Now he represents the government and is a high ranking member and he is spreading fake news

Every single picture the government posted. All their claims regarding killing 300 al shabaab or dead al shabaab have been easily debunked. No wonder they demanded no news from al shabaab it is because they don't want any actual verification. So now, no news channel can correct them.

There is only one solution for the jihadis. Somalis should stop practicing Islam. You can't stop extremism when we are producing more children with the same idiology. Do not send your kids to the quran or arabic school. And we should bring back our old religion and traditions. Simple.
