3A Telesud, available via DISH Network for viewers in the US (SuperDISH required), will air ALL matches from the 2006 African Cup of Nations with commentary in French.
Viewers outside the US with broadband Internet connections can watch the African Cup of Nations via streaming video at www.telesud.com for USD$29.99 for all games or USD$5.99 for each game.
ART Global America, available via DISH Network (SuperDISH required) will air most matches with commentary in Arabic. (Note that the digital cable version of ART does NOT have the African Cup of Nations.)
The opening match between Egypt and Libya will air LIVE on January 20, 2006 at 12noon ET.
TV5 Monde Etats-Unis and TV5 Quebec/Canada will air matches from the quarterfinal through the final with French commentary.

I assume you know Lixle too. My old man used to fight with these primitive guns back in the day. When I was a kid, he still kept one as an antique.
As for withcraft(faal or otherwise), I don't believe it is peculiar to the Jubba Valley, it is a common in all somali settled lands. As a kid, I once met a man from Gebiley who told me he practiced faal.

Egypt by one goal, or penalty shootout after extra time. It is not that they are better than I.C, but I think the psychological edge of the players will favor the home team. I saw a couple of games, and what a wonderful tournament, African footbal has came out of age, and thanks to the African players who refused the pressures of the rich European clubs. In particular, I salute those European born, or bred players like Drogba (I hate Chelsea), who refused to represent France and opted for Ivory Coast. I hope that motivates many young Africans, and especially young Somalis to represent their respective countries.
