Somali Kids: Screwed up by a life of Drugs, Alcohol, & C

Far too many Somali kids are falling victims to the streets. They are joining the criminal justice system at rapid rates. The future for a lot of kids is now looking bleek as they become what their families hated most: the Madoow.

These kids would have been better off in Utanga than the States.

obviously they're easily influenced by hip hop and what they see on BET. it was only a matter of time before all of this, and now that it's finally happening, we still havent figured how to deal with it. ciyaalkan, they think,talk and behave like african americans, there's no such thing as Somali dhaqan anymore. can we hold their parents accountable for their actions? no. i solution to all of this, "f*ck it"



i'm really glad i'm not a teenager anymore, and that i didn't have to deal with peer pressure everyday like in high school. i survived.

The irony is that your avatar is a machine gun and you are worrying about those kids who are trapped in a harsh enviromnet created by ppl like you who worship clan elders. At least they are clean from somali cancer and many of them will survive.
