listen Old Odey. I have been thinking about what you said, Perhaps the Free thinkers should hold their tongue when it comes to Islam. With that Law26, Caydiid, and Jb gone. Its like taking candy from a kid. these poor kids are just not armed with enough ammo, and hardly worth the while anymore. should we have collective argument among us to just let them drown in the numbing sound of their takbir??

I just stepped down as we speak, NOt another word about Allah or related themes from Somalilight. that is if provoked or unprovoked

First and foremost I'm enraged with your choice of Galol for the title of this thread when it is widely known amongst freethinkers that he's been replaced by avowedly as leading the onslaught on Islam.

As regards your question, I think we ought to engage in subjects that expose that religion (in this case Islam) to be mere non-sense and another crazy superstition in a long line of superstitions.

I don't know if that answers your question.

Well, they say imitation is highest form of flattery... so I'm flattered you're imitating me. Even Galol is guilty a bit here since I was the one who 2 months (or longer?) ago ceased speaking discourteously about Islam.

If I'm your king yes, if not then I'm not happy.... seriously when was the last time I spoke out of terms with respect to Islam and muslims... I honestly can't recall, so it must have been a while.

Sparring with muslims can become a drag after while. If for no other reasons, then out of sheer ennui!

Valid criticisms about Islam isn't speaking discourteously of it. It is the duty of all freethinkers to expose the fallacy of religion. To call the critcism of Islam "discourteous" is to mischaracterise valid and legitimate criticism.

I agree but critiquing insolently IS.

Now, cut out the truculency... SomLight, my goddess, has proposed a novel and agreeable idea. I'm in concordance with her although I was already at it. But you do whatever suits you.

I NEVER claimed to be more than a SIMPLE man with penchant for truth and propensity 4 rational thinking. Get your facts striaght before you pigeonhole ppl. I do sincerely hope there are educated somalis far more intelligent and wise than I... surveying the landscape of future somalis, there is not much to hope for.
