Doesn't the movie involve some sort of hidden message about Jesus christ ? Isn't it prohibited to watch something like ? or you find it least concerning.

So what? This is christian beliefs. We believe in Issa (as) the Prophet of Allah, not Jesus the son of god.

I rather think it’s curious the response of the Christian community worldwide to this movie and the book which preceded it and the response of the Muslim community toward similar books or films about Mohammed.

As I understand it (because I haven't read The Da Vinci Code), the book and the movie contrary to Orthodox Biblical doctrine state that Jesus married the prostitute Mary Magdalene and sired children. This proposition of course contradicts the popular belief of Jesus being celibate and never having married.

Given the blasphemous nature of this charge which has understandably upset many Christians, there's been no rioting, violence, death threats against Dan Brown, or the sort. Only a few words of disapproval from the various Christain denominations fearful that the book may lead some to accept it as fact.

Contrast and juxtapose this blasphemous bestseller book and Hollywood blockbuster movie (which will be viewed by thousands more) with the publication of half a dozen caricatures in a Danish newspaper which saw worldwide Muslim riots resulting in the unnecessary deaths of some 20 people, boycotts of all Danish goods and attacks against Danish embassies and personnel.

My contention is that Christians (perhaps due to the peaceful nature of the teachings of their faith) seem to display a greater spirit of endurance of criticism and blasphemy against their beliefs. It is this stark difference which strikes me as most intriguing and admirable.

I get the picture. Although I wouldn't feel comfortable watching it with an audience and a theater fill with non-believers, not that I’m some extremist but look at it from their view would they feel comfortable if they were placed in a theater where their people weren't there. Due give us some insights if do show the film.

AA,

Mary Magdalene (Mary of Migdol) has been somewhat rehabilitated by modern Christian theology, even without the DaVinci code.

Good evidence has surfaced that Mary was, in fact, a desciple of Jesus', a wealthy woman involved in the fish trade from the sea of Galilee, who probably financed some of his ministry, and who was a significant leader of the early Church. She was apparently reduced to prostitute status later as part of an effort to eliiinate women from leadership positions.

I suspect that the story is somewhat more palatable to Christians because of the long semi-obscured tradition of the" San Grall/Sang Real". The first is the Holy Grail. The second is the royal blood. If you write either one with no spaces in Latin, it can be read either way. The San Grall (The Cup of the last supper) has been the object of Christian veneration and search for centuries. The Sang Real was a secret of the Merovingian kings of France that does have some support from early Christian history and legend.

^^oh come on. the DVC is not that bad of a book but like you said its the plot and his claim that everything is fact that fascinates and frustrates a lot of people.
