PRODUCTS OF INCEST?

Post by Galol »

Incest is the last taboo in human relationships hence the `sleep with your mother or sister' recommendation has such power to humiliate and insult men in all cultures all over the world.

Yet according to the three monotheistic faiths we are all the products of incest. Worse still Adam our supposed originator fathered us after pulling out his own rib, turning it into an immediate ready made woman and humping her!(Gurey, Rebel correct me if this is not the belief in Islam)

The very thought that we are the products of a man humping his own rib, producing a set of boys and girls who then cuddled up seriousy just sort of freaks me a little out.

What do you think?

Galol

This question I asked my father as a child. He used to tell us all the stories of the Ambeya and rosol. I asked how Adam's sons could marry their sisters? The answer I got was: We wouldn't be here if they did not.... Very Happy Very Happy

I will back with more serious comment.

It would appear so,
i will let the more knowledgable borthers and sisters answer.

but what happened to Same's post from Genesis.
Laughing the bible sure is explicit, needs an R18 rating in some chapters.
but i believe that was just jewish propaganda, they didnt like the Moabites and the Amnonites who were raiding them, taking their livestock,
and women so they naturally slandered them.

Galol,

I am shocked at how things easily freak outs a man of your age Laughingbut You have yet agian embarked on another of the 1001 contradictions nullifying any reason/credibility of religions. ....the religious dialogue of " had it not been for this and that...I surely would not have Forbidden this and that.." certainly reveals the making of religious morals through pick and choose scenarios where there is complete lack of appreciation for the implications of precedent moral values in the validity of any formation of a credible system of belief.

Have you heard the SOmali belief that the bastard child is more likely to be incestous. Always makes me laugh, its probably some Arab nonesense gracefully imported by our arab worshipping forefathers.

Samatr,

Good to see you dear. You are right, some things will never change about me. Somalilight's agnosticism can only move up to atheism. Religion has lifted its burden from somalilight, the apparent world becomes more sane when you strip away the delusions that are incompatible with it.

Thus my saying goes..."when worshipping an idol rock and the unseen God has the same worldly effectiveness, then surely either the Rock has great power equal to the unseen God or the unseen God is as idol as a rock" .

I don't pray to no rock, if you are talking about Kacbah, it can only be explained as an ancient cultural practice which is somehow intertwined in Islamic culture.

The unseen God, is readily there for you to see but you blind yourself. To each his own Ms. Agnostic, what ever you become don't become a monkey worshipper, I mean Darwinist.

Yes she is appealing to the eye, but what do I know. I am just an ugly bald old man. Laughing

Only religious people worship things, I worship no one,and nothing. Death is the only certainity in my opinion, all other things are uncertain, and therefore are unknown. Infact Darwin made a guess of human decent as credible as the religious one. and after reading my copy of "decent of man " i was not impresssed with his theory either.....he is among those Neitzche calls sissy thinkers enslaved by religious morality.

Rolling Eyes

Yet again--another gathering of the elite atheist club (avowedly,Somalilight,Galol,DD,Law26 & Same)coming together to congratulate each other being 'different'. Rolling Eyes

This topic has made me actually think of a question to ask Galol & Somalilight in particular.

What is your rationale of the origin of human? If you do not believe in a religion aspect--what version do you believe in? I want a clear, none philosophical answer on this.Give a brief Succinct version of the history of First Man & woman.Forget about the animals & plants--let us start with the essentials first.Untill now --we only see you guys yap yap & flap flap your way into mountain atheistic brilliance.I wish to get to know WHAT you really believe in, your stance i mean.So far all we read from you is--You are anti--religion! Then tell us what is the best thing to believe in? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

That's her choice, at least she is comfortable with what she is.

Slight
The Bing Bang believers can not criticisize people of religion. If they think Adam and Eve and all the other miracalous stories of the montheistic faiths are ridiculous, the Big Bang theory of atheists is surely the most fairy tale ridden concept of human origin in my opinion. I can agree with you on one thing, death is certain.
