Doomsday Vault!!!!

I just read this article on yahoo news and it got me wondering. From a lighter perspective of such catastrophe, a doomsday vault would allow for the re-establishment of life on earth, hence a fresh start. Given the current depleting predicament of the world (both in natural resource and human behavior), a doomsday might not be such a bad thing. I wonder what would go into that vault to give the world a fresh start and a surviving chance. As for people, there has got to be some sort of process of elimination with respect to certain gene traits, u know like weeding out the virus. I certainly know where my preclusions would lie. Some folks just canÂ’t come along for the ride. Having said that, IÂ’m sure those Nordic creatures are thinking with similar but opposite sentiments as they design that vault. Damn it.

Well, we could theoretically use our deep mine shafts to store large food supplies. Because of the requirement to rapidly repopulate the planet, a male to female ratio of 10-1 would be desirable. The best and brightest minds for the male population would be required. The female population would, of course, have to be very physically stimulating to ensure maximum sexual response and guarantee maximum reproduction.

Of course, the Russians have more mines in Siberia than we do. There would be a mine shaft gap!
