according to that chart,
Bossaso had more votes than hargiesa,
mind you this was in 1961
what about the wanlaweyne incident.
didnt that little village in the south cast more votes than the entire
area of former "british somaliland"

The whole basis of Somaliland not being adequately represented in the Union is not true.

Reading this paper leads one to conclude that a somaliland state will not be viable because the Darood minority and the Gadabursi minority in the west are against secesion?
Hmmm, interesting stuff. nothing new there.
Can the Issaq form thier nation on their land (Hargeisa, Burco, Berbera)?
