Yup im a big fan although i wont get to watch this season cause of conflicting schedule with work Crying or Very sad

Don't be, My Dear Basra. I love fashion, and always have. Been reading GQ since I was 14, though this show focusses primarily on women's fashion But the designers are free to experiment with mens wear if they so choose. Last night's assignment was to design Miss USA Tara Conner's gown for the Miss Universe pageant. A quite ambitious undertaking, i'd say.

) PVR is a Personal Video Recorder. A converter box that records your programmes so you can watch later. It may be the Canadian equivalent of tivo, as im not sure what tivo is. Laughing

Anywho about the pvr i will ask my canadian friend about that. As for tivo it was all the rage last season people raving about recording two three shows while watching one and then going back to rewatch with the ability to forward and rewind. On my wishlist one of these i will have to cough up the dollar to get it Very Happy

But yeah, thats EXACTly what a PVR is. though here you just pay the monthly rental fee on your cable bill. For me, comin in from work at this time, it's great! I dont miss anything.

The show actually has very little emphasis on modelling. It's focus is on 16 up and coming designers who each week are given an assignment to create something original. The models play a very small part. But in regards to the models, not all are white. There's quite a few sisters. (Alas, no Somali's. Though Iman was a judge in a past episode).
