I undcerstand their fears about Aweys because he is without doubt Talibanseque in his attitudes and temperament.

But trying to isolate him will only make him more popular among his followers, clannist and Wahabbist who will rally to his cause.

Conversely the EU talking to Sharif and sidelining Aweys will only weaken the former and depict him as some kind of western lackey.

Its their new approach in order to strengthen ‘moderates’; by recognizing him over Aweys, giving him that international recognition they believe people ‘the Mas’s might follow and weaken the other.

Allah indeed loves America, doesn't he. She's faboulusly rich and healthy beyond measure. But given Allah's notoriety for having super-ultra-extra short attention span, he's liable to go asleep at the switch. Worryingly at crucial moments.
