i have a little problem my laptop getsreally hot after 1 hour of usage any suggestions on how to reduce the heat emitted?

Is there not a fan in a labtob?? If so, see if it's malfunctioning.

and you probably have it turned on for long hours.
turn it off when you're not using it.
i used to have an HP couple of years ago.
i had it on around the clock. even when i left the state i had it on.
weird i know. but either, it started getting hot after a while.
i was like, fock it and switched to a Powerbook G4.
been happy since.
maybe you should.
