I wonder what would happen if all the Somalis in the Diasphora went back to Somalia, lol. Could you imagine the clash of cultures with the Somalis that have beenthere since the war, the kids that know of a somalia that has been affected by war. And then get the westernized Somalis back with their Jareer, Cadaan, Hindi, etc kids and husbands. Laughing

Surria, that should certainly be very interesting. I saw these kids who were cousins who could not communicate, two were born in Sweden and only spoke Swedish and the other two only English!

^^ Starbucks BHAG is to open 40 000 franchises worldwide (no timeframe) But they're at 12 000 now, and plan to hit 14 000 by the end of 2007 fiscal year. So ya never know.

That is sad. It is quite interesting though, with the new political developments, many people are having hopes of going back home for the first time in years. But, i wonder what will home be like, war has changed the history and lives of the people back home.

I think--there will a major disastor. There will be another civil culture war all over again. There will be a democractic & republican government- of course the westernized somalis being Demos & the camel somalis-- the other one.But thats impossible right? With the Islamic Government becoming a model for all muslim countries--i think it will be impossible. The demos would just have to stay where they are-- & the other ones will go back & be blissfully habby'! Laughing

Yes there will be clashes of cultures, but thing about the huge developments that can be formed from this.

Somalis from all over the world will come, speaking soo many different languages.

The education would change, the society, and just about everything.

Business would begin to boom, because peopel would try to use what they brought back, and twist it with Somalis here.

I think it would be amazing, a rich (culturaly) country with diversity, but only somalis.
