Why a nun can be covered from head to toe in order to devote herself to God

But when Muslimah does the same she oppressed

When a western women stays at home to look after her house and kids she is respected because of sacrificing herself and doing good for the household?

But when a Muslim woman does so by her will, they say, "she needs to be liberated"!

Any girl can go to university wearing what she wills and have her rights and freedom?

But when Muslimah wears a Hijab they prevent her from entering her university!

When a child dedicates himself to a subject he has potential.

But when he dedicates himself to Islam he is hopeless!

When a Christian or a Jew kills someone religion is not mentioned, but when Muslim is charged with a crime, it is Islam that goes to trial!

When someone sacrfices himself to keep others alive, he is noble and all respect him. But when a Palestinian does that to save his son from being killed, his brother's arm being broken, his mother being raped, his home being destroyed, and his mosque being violated -- He gets the title of a terrorist! Why? Because he is a Muslim!


When there is a trouble we accept any solution? If the solution lies in Islam, we refuse to take a look at it.

When someone drives a perfect car in a bad way no one blames the car.

But when any Muslim makes a mistake or treats people in a bad manner - people say "Islam is the reason"!

Without looking to the tradition of Islam, people believe what the newspapers say.

Actually, he's not a terrorist. Male Muslims between the ages of 17-40 are regarded with suspicion, becauswe they just happen to be the population group that is trying to blow up Americans. Jews aren 't regarded as potential terrorists, because they are not trying to blow up Americans. Pretty simple really.

Because a nun is a vountary member of an order, not the rank and file member of a society. No one requires someone to become a Nun, Muslims require their women to wear hijab, often beating those in the West who failed to do so.

The type of people who would claim a Muslim woman needs to be liberated are the same people who would claim the western woman is oppressed and needs to be liberated as well. They are radical feminists. Small in number, loud in voice.

Who is "They" and where is this happening? Pretty much restricted to France, where open displays of religion in learning institutions violates their interpretation of secularism. No hijabs, no crucifixes, etc.

Depends ont he subject. If a child were to dedicate himself to memorizing the Bible, at the expense of his other learning, no parent in his right mind would stand for that. Only freaks would think that is a good thing.

That's because Christians and Jews don't invoke God or religion when they kill someone. But Muslims always are claiming it's "Jihad" and yelling Allahu Akbar. When Christians or Jews do invoke religion, they ARE labeled religios extremists (like the twit who assassinated Shimon Peres).

No, because he's blowing himself up and a bunch of other people in a cafe. The Palestinian man who tried to protect his son during a gunfight was not labeled a terrorist.

Some people do actually. But this is a bad analogy. Islam is bad car.

That's because Islam often IS the reason. Read the Qur'an to find out why.

People often believe what the media says, and the media often gets it wrong. If you are a blind sheep, you'll always be gullible, vis-a-vis Islam or anything else. But Islam still socks!

Madmac don't forget how Many Christians are just as hostile and mean. There is even a web site I recently found where American Christians and non-Christians were planning ways to root out Muslims calling us"Terrorists" .

One person had a Crusader Soldier as his avatar and the comments made on that forum made me sick. I do worry though, that the tolerant voices from both Islam and Christianity are being drowned out by all this hate filled speech, on the other end you sound like you fit the category on that part.

I don't hate Muslims. I just don't sit still for this "Isn't Islam great" talk. I don't sit still for the "Isn't Christianity great talk" either. I am always telling my Aunt (who's a born again Christian) that it's crap and she should stop bringing it up around me unless she wants to be offended.

Mad Mac, so in other words, you're an Athiest? A nonbeliever right?

If you don't sit still for "isn't Islam great" kinda talk, why not leave the site, after all, this is an ALL MUSLIMS site(excluding the .01% kafirs)? Nothing is holding you back you know. I believe I told you this before but you don't want to listen and take my brilliant advice.

No one sees you as a Muslim unless you make an overt poltical statement to appear Muslim. If you want to appear Somali you can wear a Guntiino, do Somali hair thing and walk like a dark peacock hen. Spit occassionally and say "waryaa laakiin iyo fiinnimo.." and voila! nobody will label you Muslim!

And it is a discussion board, remember. If you make a thread asserting something, THEN others are likely to respond to that something. It appears that you want ot have a discussion board where there isn't discussion, rather one person makes an Islamic post, and everyone else reponds with a mindless "MashAllah" or "Allahu Akbar" or "thank you sis for that reminder" or similar bullshit.

And I am not an atheist, I am a deist, not that I would expect your average Muslim to have the slightest clue as to what the difference is.
