Plane Crashes

Post by Demure »

It seems there are too many plane crashes lately, "I was just reading about the Nigerian crash today". I started to think about the planes that go to Somalia, which I refer to as the "qabqablayaasha" they're as old as they can get. Some of the Daalo planes specifically the little propeller ones even have heavy smoke come out of them when it takes off and are banned to enter the UAE air space because they are not safe, and yet they fly it everywhere within Somalia, Djibouti and so forth.

Some one needs to write the three companies or so who own and operate all the planes that go to Somalia and demand new planes. What are they waiting for? till one crashes?

Have you ever taken, Daallo, African or Juba? Please share your experience if you did.

I took a daalo plain from Dubai to Somalia two years ago. Lets just say I was ready to die that night. Its risky to fly with those old planes and it that fact that Somali (especially the women) cant respect rules doesnt help. Each one of them has about 80kg of luggage.

Yes the Daalo planes are pretty crappy. My father told me these planes were the same ones he took to go to Russia. The trip is scary at first, but you eventually say to yourself "If this plane crashes all these other people on board will die with me." That usually gives me some relief, but yeah the planes are horrible only thing I liked was this one stewardess who had her shirt buttoned down.Laughing

Waryaa when did you go?? Laughing

I remember there was a stewadress with same characteristics you mentioned Laughing

The scary part is when that dude starts reading al faatixa and duco.. Its as if they're expecting something big to happen anytime soon. Also all that noise that comes from the plane and the seats that are not firmly fastened with loose bolts.

I have been back twice, the most recent was this past winter where I only stayed for less then three weeks its was over some land rights, I gotta get mine you gotta get yours Laughing . They give you some canned food did you notice. I was the first person on the plane so they made me sit infront. I could see the propellors shaking, I was like well at least I will die in my homeland or the Red Sea. Laughing

Man the last place I want to die is on a stupid daalo plane with a bunch of loud Xaliimos and wild kids.

Somalis don't know a thing called Nidaam. Did you notice marka safka la gelayo they all complain because they cant be first? Laughing

The lady was like "ok everyone who has seats 12-29 may enter the plane" (Or something of that nature) and these Habro start fighting her because they have lambar 1-5 Laughing Laughing

I took African which was a big plane from Dubai to Baladawgle, and supposedly it's one of the better planes that go there, but the pressure in the cabin was so bad I was in pain the whole trip I felt like my ears were going to explode any minute and there was a strong gasoline smell inside the cabin.

I would think they made a lot of money after all these years isn't it time they invest in new planes, it's only going to help them in the long run.
