Great pics great story. I remember the days when Burao had football teams sponsored by Mobil and Nissan and Shell and Total and Agip. This was before Wallaweyn rule came on us like a ton of dead bricks and snuffed the life out of us.
It is wonderful to see private companies like Ethiopian Airlines sponsoring sporting activities in Somaliland. Do you guys not see Airlines and washing machine companies sponsoring the biggest sporting events in the world?
This is why Wallaweyn rule will never succeed even in Wallaweyn land. Because they are so dumb, enterprise wise.
Are you Kombo boys laughing at this Isaq sportsman because he is dark?
when did darkness of men become an insult? It used to be the wish of every Somali mother to have a very dark boy" Ilaahow haddaad will madow ii weyday mid casna ma ii weyday"? Somali mothers who couldnt have boys used to beg God.
But will you little fockers know about Somali culture.
You never heard that before have you? It is part of our culture. Somali mothers always saw `red' boys as weaklings; unmanly. `Casaan' was supposed to be for girls.
