dervish, why don't you mind your business, i have seen you trying to troll in Somaliland threads many times, it's getting ridiclous. You have no place in this discussion. You are a bitter loser who is too obsessed with Somaliland, see yourself out.

You're so pathetic. Did you know that? Your deserted province of kastuumo state is in worst position in all dimensions of developments than any other state in Somaliland/Somalia and here you are going around advising other people of how they should lead their lives, instead of telling people who are doing million times better than you how they should live theirs, you should do something about the dire situation your towns and people are in.

If you don't mind, this topic is for Somalilanders, not kastumites. Kindly take your boring comments to Sool section.

What you said might be too harsh, but well said. It's the only way fanatics like Dervish understand.

an idea that went down well with his audience, Shire said Somaliland suggested the Somali diaspora make a $1 voluntary contribution to the state when they send remittances, which would come to between $300m and $400m a year. Several people in the audience said they would be willing to contribute much more than $1, while Quman Jibril Akli, from Somaliland Focus UK, went so far as to say the $1 contribution should be made compulsory

Very interesting Concept. I want every Somalilander here to start thinking about that above quote for a moment. How many of us are willing to contribute tiny fraction of our money towards our country?

I think 99% of us can afford at least $50/month to be put in savings's account for the development of Somaliland.

Those who would make that pledge, please go ahead and say so.

It has been proposed in snet by many JSL forumers before, a Eritrea diaspora kind of type. Where every Somaliland citizen in the diaspora pays monthly to contribute to the development of Somaliland. Personally i think with the right focus and organisation we can do it.
