Well, of course we'd all disagree with that if it were our time still but at this time and age, I think talkin and making them understand that something is wrong will do better than our folks way. With all the exposure they get, you've got to have them on ur side always lest you die of worry.

do i believe in spanking yes and no to be honest we somalis have all been spanked at one point. and we all turned out fine i was spanked with belt sometimes but that did not lower my self steam or turn me in to abuser of anykind.

i have kids of my own my oldest is just 3years old i spank him every now and then but i only hit him in on his behind with my hand not a stick or anything else . i took developmental psychology class and they said that spanking works well on kids age 3-6 after that it doesn't work i don't plan to keep on spanking my kids i plan on punishing them by taking games,tv,play time away from them but a 3 year old has nothing u can take him from . i don't believe all that happens to child who has been spank maybe those who were abused not spanked. hitting a childs head against the wall as one writer mention is not consider spanking its consider child abuse and that has log term health effect on the childs brain and eyes.

nagin trust me midwives are much better them doctors. doctors are not alway their to deliver your child they might have their partner or co-worker deliver your child someone you never met. and most doctors are male and if you find a female doctor her partner or co-working who might be delivering your child could be male........ i would kill my self to have a man deliver my child i rather have it with a midwive. i have two beautiful boys both have been deliver by midwives and i will always have midwive rather then a doc i said that because i was in labor with my first one for 48 hours and the mid-wives did nothing to rush me or confuse me all they did was try to make me as comfort. as they can and let me relax and let nature take its course. that is how its suppost to happen not be rush to c-section and be told that ur blood presure is too high (lie) and the babies heart is dropping. i can't do that i wouldn't advise u to do that either think about it and research about it

Beating kids won't solve anything, it's better 2 take something away from them that they like. Beating leaves psychological damage to a child and they'll remember it 4 the rest of their lives..Not something you should be doing to a child!
