I know a british guy in Sydney who speaks fluent afsomali,
he spent time in Hargiesa in the 50's.

My nieghbour in Sydney was a hungarian engineer who lived in Moqadishu
during the 70's, he spoke somali too.

plus one more thing.
I was in the train one day talking to my mum on the mobile
and this woman was eavesdropping, after i finished,
she said ii waran abaayo Laughing

thats all the somali she knew but it turns out she was born in Moqadishu.
in the mid 70's .
