What army will you beg to do your bidding against indepedent peaceful Somaliland...the habashees, American or the African or maybe the Europeans...because we all know that so called Somali government has no guts to fight any type of war without foriegn assistance. But anyway Somaliland is prepared to never surrender its existence to legitimate government.

We have survived without any foriegn support independtly and peacefully for close tpo 20 years and I think we can survive without recognition or support from anyone for another 20 years or 100 years who knows...so no matter what you do you could make sure that people of Somaliland will not make the same mistake they made 60 years ago with Hargeysa being the capital and leadership being transfered to Somalilander.

I sense a feel of diminishing understanding of the Facts on the ground.

Somaliland Can not survive Flight sanctions, baning of Dahabshiil branches everywhere but The triangle of BURCO BERBERA HARGEISA.

This gov't doesn't even have to pull any triggers. Diplomatically they can bring any rebel movement to their knees. We don't wanna see that so negotiations are your best option.

2. we are already under sanctions due to anti-somaliland arabs, diplomatic we are not recognized so how much worse can it get.

3. you really think that we will come to you begging if you get them to tighten sanctions on us.

you are talking about an automatic War.

this is all hypothetical but lets say that we fought for 10 years against the much stronger Somalia, and we were ready to fight indefinatley.

You could try to beg the world to sanction Somaliland the same way you begged the Ethiopians and Americans to bomb people you claim to be your own like video game figures...but I could promise you nothing will stop the determination Somalilanders living abroad from helping rebuild home land for the next generation. Remember Somalilanders build their indepedence from ashes with begging foriegners handout or to kill their fellow brothers... I think sanctions or anything you could think of will not hurt Somaliland. The only think that will hurt Somaliland is if they give up their indepedence.
