TPDM are local liberation fronts in the heart of Tigray (northern Ethiopia) who are sponcered by Eritrea.

The Tigrayan People's Democratic Movement has on January 8, attacked three units of the 33rd division of the Weyane army and killed 145, wounded 45 and captured 6.

Another unit of TPDM hit the 14th division killing 28 and wounding 31 Ethiopians.

An Ethiopian military truck that was traveling in the Sheraro was destroyed by a mine and 8 Ethiopian soldiers were killed.

They're a blasted minority and ARE in power illegally. Maybe they are anti-Zenawi. Ethiopia is one f*cked up country though. Ppl are dying in droves from Aids and the top brass are killing it in earnings....sounds like typical African. Laughing

A Tigreyan neighbor of mine was upset about the Somalia war. She said that Zenawi made a stupid move. Her brother, a top ranking officer, refused to go to the Somalia war & was placed under house arrest.
