TFG supporters

Why is it the majority hail from Puntland? By supporters I'm strictly refering to "popular supporters", the average puntlanders not political operatives. The most vocal advocates of the TFG are self-declared ardent Puntlanders. I know it's not Qabiilnimo since the TFG is comprised of all somali clans. Is it for Somalinimo? I'm just trying to figure out the reasoning that leads to disproportionate number of Puntlanders chearleading for the TFG.

Presumably it is because the president of the TFG is a Puntlander and in their delusional thoughts, some Puntlanders running wild here equate the TFG with being a Puntlander. i.e. we own the whole thing.

I don't like to presume anything hence why i'm asking rer Puntland to tell us themselves.

Puntlanders are not clanists contrary to popular perception... they deserve congrats for the relative peace and governance they established for their regions since late 90s. These are proud ppl and true blue patriotic Somalis. No doubting that. What I like to know is what motivates them in the hope of what we, the rest of Somalis, can learn from them. In online forums 8 out of every 10 pro-TFG person you meet is Puntlander, more remarkable in real life they pretty much organise and attend nearly all pro-TFG events. The commitment of rer Puntland to TFG cause is admirable. But what do Puntlanders see in the TFG that the rest of us Somalis miss?
