My parents are my role models b/c, growing up was struggle, but they always found a way to live life the way they wanted to and build a home for their family that was based on the true teachings of Islam. Mostly they helped me decide my future, and I am grateful for them everyday.

I asked that because saying why you consider a person your role model helps you realise what you consider important...what values and personality traits and so on.
So, for example you value over coming hurdles to live life as you want to. You also value the teachings of Islam...and helping your children have a successful life...i.e. helping them decide what you wanted to do for your future.
It is more useful to evaluate why you consider a person your role model rather than just listing people because in most cases they hold the key to what would make you happy by knowing what you value most in yourself and in others.

Re: WHOSE YOUR ROLE MODEL?
My parents because they are hard working and very socially active people and they've made a difference to the lives of so many people.
Sheikh Shariif Sheikh Axmad, because he inspired me to be a better Somali and to remember those less fortunate than me.
Oprah Winfrey because she is a strong successful black woman who has helped many people over the years.
Richard Branson, because he built a successful business empire and still remains in tune with reality.
Its a long list...

My soul. It always wants the best for me...because in essence it is me, and wants to connect with Allah, but it is so easy to ignore because you cant see it.
