I really want to go NYU's Film School, but I know that I probably will not be able to. My parent's first of all will not allow me to and I'm Canadian. Most likely I will major in Pyschology and maybe do a minor in Journalism inshallah.
Mike..because I am already way in, in my major and graduate in a year, so I dont wanna start all over again, especially on something that is so different. besides, I am more into the independent filmaking, and hollywood is not upto that. and too expensive to get started.
i always wanted to become a doctor but i used to feel sick everytime that i see other people's blood so after graduation from high school, i studied economics & business both in undergrad & grad schools.
Journalism and biologist, I still want to pursue them, However, the course of study, I've selected is just as important as them, as of yet I'm still undecided, wheather I want to alter my course, which I've been struggled with, for years.
What will you do? Where will you work? When will you get promoted? How much money will you make? Many people feel lost when they consider the endless list of career choices and fields they could go into. Add to that the list of so many potential employers and it's easy to see why one can get so overwhelmed. It's confusing and sometimes frustrating. You may try out one career or company and dislike it. You may be very lucky and quickly fall into something you do enjoy. Instead of drifting with the fates, it's wiser to have a specific plan to create your own career and identify and advance it based on your natural talents and skills. Besides, good personality puts you in a stronger position to take advantage of and maximize the opportunities that life sets before you and equips you to make the choices that will create the life you want.
It seems all of us never tried, but you have to test your personality with psychologists and the career that fits you well. According to most personality theories, we each have within our own personality type, both strengths and weaknesses. These are primarily determined by the genetic, neurological hardwiring found within our brain. Whereas one person is wizard with computers, another who is not wired for understanding these complex systems and how computers work, finds the technology to be mindboggling. The more you function within your inherent stregths, the more stronger and more confident you become, the better your sense of reality, and the more control you have over your life.
