visiting Awdal

Post by gavin »

Hey all,

I am interested in visiting Somalia, maybe Awdal. I am trying to join any movements for radical democracy there. I have read much about the market-anarchy of Somalia, and I'm eager to help it develop. I wonder if it is very unsafe for an American, though. Are there ex-pat communities of Westerners anywhere in Somalia trying to bolster democracy and market-anarchy?

thanks

Do you know where Awdal is?
If you wanna help Somalia as a foreigner , I'd suggest you take your azz to Puntland , they'll protect you and even maybe give you one of their daughters.

There is no democracy you can export to the people of Awdal, they know what it is , that's all.

Gavin, I'm not familiar with awdal or it's current democracy stats, Over all, it seems like a good place to start off, if you're interested, in sustaining the region.

Yeah they usually stay on their aircraft carrier offshore and bomb the fuc.k out of anybody who oppose Abdillahi Yusuf, that's why I'am telling you Puntland is your best bet buddy.

I've just read some interesting things about that location, specifically the level of technological expertise. I am really interested in safe locations which do not have a central government.

I'm definitely not trying to help export Western democracy to Somalians, as I think our democracy is essentially a joke. I have been astounded that Somalia has been able to function without a central government, and I would like to help you so the rest of the world can learn what real democracy is. Americans are obviously very confused, maybe me too hehe, but especially since most Americans believe their system of democracy is 'near perfect'. I want to help Somalian democracy so the world can learn and move forward for future humanity. I believe future democracy will involve electronic voting, with computers or possibly mobile phones. I want to help build electronic infrastructure in Somalia, that is what I know best.

Gavin first of all there's nothing malicious in my previous comments, just roughin' the rookie in you. Laughing
Secondly if you wanna help in building the electronic infrastructure up , I say good on you and I'll let the people from Awdal speak on that, but I repeat there's no democracy to be exported to that region.
