This is for all of the skeptics out there, to visit Somaliland you dont need a visa and you dont have to be from the dominant clan family, as a matter of fact as the Reer Xamar reporter mentioned, the Somalilander with foreign passport paid an entry fee of $20(I think they hiked it to $40 now) and the Somali nationals paid nothing, they were welcomed eveywhere they went, joked about the Reer Waqooyi(Isaq's) lack of religion as most Southern peeps believe with the taxi driver, met with an Isaq suldaan, visited Cilmi Boodhari's tomb in Berbera. This shows you how hospitable Somalilanders are. Somaliland is open for all Somalis, as long as you keep your Somaliweyn propaganda to your self and not bring it with you, also, a word of advise my Southern brothers(this includes Puntlanders, too) stay away from Somaliland's politics it is for Somalilanders, otherwise, soo dhawoow

First Dayniile now Somaliweyn, I wonder what is behind this sudden interest in Somaliland...

anyway, nice pics lovely place just needs investment and it could be a great tourist destination...I'll admit as a southerner I will no longer say what is the point of arguing about keeping some arid land up north that I have no interest in ever visiting, now I'll be willing to fight for the buuro and beach and Cilmi Boodheri's tomb (I mean the land)....maybe this trend by Xamar News agencies will make other southerners feel the same. Very Happy

I think because there are so many southerners moving to Somaliland at this time,
And they are encouraging the people from mogadisho to move and invest in somaliland because of its safety and stability….
