Majeerteens are insignificant langaabs, you and others are giving them way too much credit here. Politically, militarly and economically they're no body south of Gaakacyo ever since 1991. Ethiopia used them to achieve (remember Cadde Muse proudly announcing that he invited Ethiopians to Gaalkacyo last July?) their goals and will discard them like used condom when done with them. In fact all somali clans are like that to the Ethiopians. The Xabashi could care less about MJs or Hawiyes or Isaaqs. We're just somalis to them.

The burning question is: what do you do with people who harbour so much hate and resentment for you to the point they'll chearlead and invite into their towns (ie Gaalkacyo) your historical enemy bent on killing you? I don't need to impress on you all the detrimental effect of Cuqdad filled groups running amuck. The sad answer is disengagement from Buttland. It's high noon Hawiyes drop this "somaliweyn" nonesense and start looking after the interest of it's people. Build regional administrations attending to the needs of your people. But Hawiye can't afford another 16 years of political limbo neither can they afford more international isolation. Hawiye and peace-loving somalis need internationally recognised government that can establish contact with friendly nations/groups for investmen ends and secure aid for the people. This can only be achieved with internationally recognised "national government". However, as stated rer Buttland are major impediment to this end as both recent and distant history can attest to (remember it was MJs that introduced dirty politics to Somalia in the 60s with nepotism, political assassinations, venality, corruption etc). So how do you sideline them while not threatning to lose international support? Proportional representation! This will virtually gaurantee MJ subservience for the next good while since MJs are ultra-minority in Somalia coupled with nigh universal hate they garner from every quarter even their fellow darods (who can blame them?) and their re-introduction into Somali politics as good citizens will be entirely dependent on them... they'll have to work with other somalis and any shananigans from them will only result their further isolation.

But first thing is first. For now, the only agenda on the table is getting rid of Ethiopians.

Id rather live in Buttland then a hell hole those Hawiyes dug themselves which never belonged to them in the first place. It was the Hawiya who introduced warlords, digging up the dead in grave yards, looting and mass killing.
