Somalia: Reinforcement Ethiopian forces close to the capital

Mogadishu 01, April.07 ( Sh.M.Network) Large number of additional Ethiopian troops is reported to be heading towards the Somalia capital Mogadishu to enforce their colleagues fighting local insurgents in the city as Shabelle reporter Hassan Mayow reporting Sunday.

Mayow says hundreds of troops with 40 trucks left Afgoie town 30km south of the capital to join the war in Mogadishu.

The Ethiopian forces left Baidoa city, southwest of the capital to support the forces fighting against bands of strong insurgents.
Meanwhile, an Ethiopian truck among military convoy has exploded after it run over a roadside bomb near Bali-Dogle military airfield 100km southwest of the capital late Saturday.

There was immediate casualty on the Ethiopian soldier boarding the truck.

Other additional Ethiopian soldiers have crossed the border into Somalia to reach the capital.

Extra Ethiopian troops have been pouring the Somalia capital Mogadishu since the war broke out.
