Its a 100% Rer Hilowle Degaan founded in the 1960s. It has a primary, middle and high school. 2 hospitals one for TB & other diseases. There are several well operated deepwater wells.

The population consists mainly of Rer Hilowle esp. Rer Maxamed Wardheere. I saw a video of the place and it is in better shape than Wisil or Af Barwaqo. The town had a high school before Galkacyo.

The development was spearheaded by a consortium of Rer Hilowle overseas: again mainly Rer Mohamed Warhdeeres.

Nice, looks like these people are enjoying their time in the xuus. I wonder what was the feast that day...I'm sure there was bariis and hilib ari. I miss mudug strange as it sounds, I got my dhaqan celiis, and a taste of what it really means to be Sacad Saciid. Its hard to come back from that.
