In every country there are protocols. CRTC in Canada, the FCC in the States etc

You obviously have superficial understanding the roles FCC and CRTC play. These are government regulatory bodies whose responsibility is to make sure media outlets they extended licenses to adhere to their obligations. Those obligations don't cover lying but things like airing inappropriate material over public airwaves etc. They're not in the business of press gagging. They don't close down media outlets because they lied. If you disagree please provide evidence to the contrary.

The TFG is making big mistake if they delibrately attack Shabelle or any other media outlet. There's nothing in the TFG charter that legalises this action. Assuming the TFG is calling the shots which we all know they're not.

Dan rather of CBS made a simple mistake (lie) about the Bush and the FCC were on CBS ass and rather apologized about it on air.

CRTC will not allow lies to be funneled in Canada. When the Conservatives had an ad campaign against the Liberals in Quebec (mind you the Conserv are the ruling party) they were told that a smear campaign will not be tolerated.

The TFG and it's regulatory body have tried diplomatic means.

What did the FCC do to CBS and Dan Rather? You're making no sense.

Just a reminder. The FCC and RCTC don't bomb or "take out" media outlets. Their power comes from the mandate given to them by the US congress and the Canadian parliment. Usually in the form of an Act like US's Communicatin Act. Their powers are limited to revoking and issuing licences. Not bombing buildings.

As I said and as you've failed to prove there's no legal precedent/basis for the TFG to bomb Shabelle.
