A piece of History

Post by guhad122 »

I can't help but notice the motherfocker Ogaadeens in 1800s were fighters. The Ogaadeen were hardcore Walaahay because we extended the Somali territories into Kenya and into Ethiopia and all we never get thanks from the brainless Somalis. "1800s Aubudwaq could put a 1000 spearman and rifleman in a field"

Ismahaan;
I am not in no way, shape or form clan ideologist. I wanted to write my dissertation about Somali history and how they fought the European colonizers and their marionettes and because of this, I spend so much time on the net looking for chronological information about Somali history in the context of colonial times. And to be honest with you, I see too many Ogaden articles and information and how they fought with European colonies. I saw Biyomaal articles in Italian and I am looking for someone to translate these for me either in English or Somali. Let me know if you have any information pertaining the Somali history of 1800s.

Whether in Ogadenia or Jubbaland, the 1800s Ogadens made history as they refused to take the colonial orders. I can post hundreds of articles or books written about Ogaden struggle against the European colonies. The Dervishe struggle, while led by Ogadeni, compromised all Somali clans though.
