Lil_Cutie.., I agree 100% with what prophet Muhammad (saw) said about nationalism. But, why do many Somalis make nationalism as if it's something positive or compatible with Islam?

Arabman--I know, it's something which disgusts Islam, it simply collides with the principles. Hence, if a son/daughter is of marrying age and suggests to his/her parents someone in particular and the parent's refuse on the basis of Nationalism or Tribalism then that son/duaghter has the right to go to Islamic courts whom will provide them with a Walid for the Nikah, providing that the person in question is a praticising muslim (prays, fasts, and fears Allah!).. InshaAllah.

& This is something which has become so so surreal.
