Money does Everything?

This is a simple translation from one of the speeches of Sheikh Tariq Jameel.

Dear Brothers and Friends

Allah makes the human being realize with stories of Quran, stories of previous nations.
In the whole Quran, Allah establishes the base of thought that everything belongs to Allah, everything is under His control, with out Allah’s permission nothing can come in existence, without Allah’s permission there’s no security, without Allah’s will there is no salvation for anyone. Any individual, the rising of that individual and the falling of that individual. All this is Allah’s doing and is in His control.

Here, whatever Allah wills will happen. That will not happen what human being wants. That will not happen what the world wants or desires. Human beings, Jinns or the creation that is spread all over the world wants or desires. That will not happen. But that will happen what Allah wants.

The Devil in contrast invites to the thinking that amass wealth, everything will happen. Everything happens through money. Quran says that everything is happening through Allah. The Devil says through money, everything happens. We can see and it is visible that through money things are happening, but through Allah we do not see it. The Sun rose and Allah made it rise, but we don’t see Allah. Angels are with Him but not infront of us.

A poor man, not prosperous and no one asked of him. In his hands money came (didn’t care whether it’s lawful or unlawful) all of a sudden he became respected, honored, eyes started turning, people starting greeting him. He entered the political arena. Became an MLA or a member,

So everyone said it happened through his money or not? He didn’t have money, so no one asked of him. Money came, so came respect, wealth came, membership came, popularity came and people started greeting him. This is a test from Allah, and (even here its not money) Allah is the one who has done all this.

Through our eyes its money, but the one who is doing is Allah. From small particles to the sun, from simple greenery to mountains, from ant to elephant, from Mikhael and Jibrael, Angel of death. Everything is under Allah’s command. Everything is in control of Allah (swt).

And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. (Quran 15:21)
