Cumar Shooli is one of the best singers. He was the Madaalaha Hobalada Waaberi. I saw him perform live in Golaha Martuda iyo Madaadala back in the days when my older brother was participating the famous Kadis show to represent his school. The famous Kadis song had lyrics like:
Kadis waa su'aalo kooban
Waa murti kal-gacal
Kaalayoo kororsadaa aqaantaa....

Back then Shooli was called the "Madaalaha Hobalada Waaberi" because he used to play and perform at Caruuba and Jubba nightclubs at night, and then would come to Kadis in the morning, and do other tasks required from him by the Hobalada Waaberi...
He is one of our best singers!!!He is alive and looks good at his age!
