The CNN*Youtube Democratic Debate
I was impressed my Obama by his Iraq, and Dafuur approach. He stood up most to me when he was asked if he would consider talking to Iranian, Syrian,Cuban, N Korean presidents. Hillary CLinton was boring and fake.........I hate her, she was the biggest flip flopper on the stage. Senator Gravel was just funny with his responses, but has no chance. Richardson's plan to leave Iraq in 6 months was ridiculous.
What stood out to U? that is, if you watched it.

Re: The CNN*Youtube Democratic Debate
It was interesting
but it really is easy to leave Iraq, the Dems are being wussies... just withhold the funds
the republicans have already killed themselves
Ron Paul is an exception cause he is pretty honest, foreign policy is great.
Only problem is that he is a blood-thirsty capitalist.

Re: The CNN*Youtube Democratic Debate
Edwards does not sugarcoat anything, he shut both Obama and Hilary down. He said both Hilary and Obama were late on voting to bring back the troops and that they only voted the last minute. His point being they don't know what they want therefore cannnot lead. Not dependable.
He got my vote, even though he won't win.

Ron Paul is NOT blood-thristy, thankyou.
Just because one a has a healthy faith that the market; provided there are adequate protections of freedoms and property, does not mean one is of the neo-Liberal economic (read; highway robbery) persuasion.
But then, this thread is a joke in itself; who actually believes that the traditionally big spending, foreign-intervention obsessed democrats will actually do anything better than the current farce of an administration.

Re: The CNN*Youtube Democratic Debate
Ismahan, look at it from my perspective. One knows Democrats to be big spending, big government, foreign interventionist types with a penchant for involving the country in destructive and coslty wars. The thesis is; we are going to replace a Republican Party that has endorsed that big spending, big government, foreign interventionist type policy, and has gotten the coutry involved in THREE destructive and coslty wars, with the Democratic party whose trademark is this very thing!
I can see little difference between both parties in substance. Both parties will continue to DISREGARD the Consititution they swore to uphold. Both parties are FOR further foreign intervention, should Iran/Syria/Pakistan continue to be uppity on their pertinent issues. Both parties are AGAINST ending the War in Iraq; the Republicans started it, and the Democrats continue to fund it. Both look forward to EXPANDING the scope of the Federal Government. Both are not likely to be FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE enough to halt runaway Federal spending, the deficit, and the devaluation of the Dollar. Both are RABIDLY pro-Israel, and are quite happy to sit back while the Israeli's continue their grisly work.
Who cares what a candidate believes about abortion, or a comprehensive national healthcare system, when the Constitution does not empower the Federal Government to address EITHER of these issues?
Ergo, this 'joke of a thread' remark.

Re: The CNN*Youtube Democratic Debate
Ismahan,
The debater that was most appealing was Chris Dodds. He seems to be the most to the center of the candidates.
I believe it will ultimately be either Edwards or Dodds.
However, if it came to who appealed the most to me it was Gravel or Kucinich. They honestly spoke from the heart and I do believe that they are genuine.
Lord help us if Hilary wins the primary
Padishah,
The Democrats and Republicans are similar and have very little in contrast compared to political parties in the Europe or elsewhere.
This reminds me of the old adage, "The more things change, the more they stay the same."
There was only 1 candidate on the stage who voted against the Iraq invasion, Dennis Kuicinich.

Re: The CNN*Youtube Democratic Debate
LOLismahaan.
LOOOOOOOOOOL@fake Hillary!
Walaahi she is NOT fake. She is just too sophisicated and smart. People want her to be all mooshy feelings, idealistic and oo so Obama like.
TUFFFFF
I love Hillary for the precise fact : she is EXTREMELY SMART. A great PR master, an experienced leader, and hey u dont forget the 'Bill' factor!
Bill in the white house again-- is to die for!
Padisha is smoking some bad arabian hashiish.
Did u say up there that republican and Demo both involved the country in costly war???Heloooo --go back to all the US prezs and see which party administration was involved in the most unnecessary wars. Republicans tend to be dumb big muscle bullies. Demos tend to be sickly, feeble but vastly educated and smart sissies. Thats a fact.
And of course i am all for the sissies--if they will give us prospeporous economy and no war!
My views on the debate last nite? The indian guy on Youtube with his guitor thoroughly annoyed me.
The cancer woman who removed her wig to expose her bald head freaked me out.
As to the candinates--well-- i kinda like that old grey hair grand pa.He seemed the under dog in the bunch. He was saying the right things-- but looking at him---i was thinking more like Prez of alzheimer club than the prez of United states.
Edward and Hillary could be a good team.Edward vice and Hillary--of course 'da Man'.Madam President.
Obama needs to make himself busy by going back to kenya to look for his ancestry. He has a lot of cousins with the name-- 'Otiengos'.
OH BTW : Senator Biden was the STAR of the bunch. Scratch Edward--for vice -- I AM ALL FOR Senator Biden to run with Madam president. His passionate movement for Dafur moved me.I have a soft' spot for him.
There is an aora of sexiness in him that i find most interesting. If only he could fix his hair, all will be perfect.

Re: The CNN*Youtube Democratic Debate
Muslims in America shouldn't vote for Obama, Edwards or other Democrats. These liberals allow abortion, same-sex marriage, other abominations and many things that are totally against Islam. If you must vote, vote for a Republican, because a Republican will continue to strengthen Islamic insurgencies, plus we share with Republicans some family and moral values.

Padishah,
Ur points are very valid and I'm with you 110%, however, you are forgetting who is voting these people into office and whether the American public realizes trurly what their politicans are doing. If they did, they would have been held accountable for many things demostically and as well as foreign policies. Its unfortunate really, but its the sad truth.
LOL Basra, wax walan. The lady Clinton is fake fake fake John kerry version if not worst. She is smart howeve, her policies are the Muslim world's worst nightmare. She is the female version of Bush, okay not entirely but she is the devil. Just look at her response to when as she is will ever meet with Iranian, Syrian etch president. She said will not, they are not legit. Dont the Iranians elect their president democractically, the same thing with Hamas. First they require a written legislation for them to hold democratic election for palestine and when the people elec Hamas, all of a sudden its not legit enough for them...........aaah the hypocrisy.
This lady was the most pro Isreal individual on that stage last night.
AW,
I agree Gravel and Kucinich were very geniune with their responses, but lets be real they are not going to win.
Arabman,
There is not that such of a difference if a Republican or a democrat wins the elections to be honest. Look at the Republicans, they are responsible for the mess that is American foriegn policy and in return when the Demos took office for the past seven months, they did nothing to stop this mess. Now, I dont think strengthening the Islamic insurgencies is doing to solve anything here. If you listened carefully to the debater lastnight, most of them would rather invest troops in Iraq and Afghanistan than send them to Dafuur to distribute food and AIDE. Now, tell me how would insurgency benefit the peaceful values of the Islamic religion.

I meant military conflicts, wars, battles and clashes between America/Europe and Islamic insurgencies will help strengthen the later.

Re: The CNN*Youtube Democratic Debate
arabman
I think u are verging into Talibaniac bipolarism walaal. You rationale is absolutely ludicrous.
Arabman it seems your ideal world is pre historic arabia, where Sword was the law. Those days where Islam ruled the world. Here u are preferring insurgency to peace.
Walaal Islam qalaad baad kafamteey. Islam is about peace, love and the worship of our Allah. Simple as that. Its not about suicide, victimhoom and taliban mania.
Ismahaan....huh?
Like i said -Hillary is smart.Of course she will not acknowledge iranian president. You have too see things in her shoes--Hillary is a woman, and any decision or stand she makes- her sex is the 'big' elephant in the room. Her answer was a stratigic one.She has to show she can be a tuff liberal. She has to show them, she can be a Cowboy. She will stand tuff, grab her junk, spit on the floor and look manly mean.Thats whay she will do to get elected!
Ismahaan u dont like her simply because of 'catty' reasons. As u confessed in previous post 'why women hate other women'-- u confessed it gave u special feelings hating on women.
And u support Obama simply coz he is black!
I mean--look at u--salivating, almost licking Obama for just being black.Your first sentence in the post begins proof of how mesmerized & inlove u are by Obama. 'I was impressed my Obama by his Iraq, and Dafuur approach.'
Yes, no doubt u were 'impressed' with his somali looking bataq bataq arbs as indicated in new peoples magazine, him running in the beach like bay watch hunk from dafur in his shorts.
Heloooooo Let me tell u--that Senator Biden began the 'Dafur Movement' in the congress. In fact it is BIDENS' platform. Walaal lets face it-- u r thinking black and catty. How rational can u get?

Basra
Naa bal suug, I will get back to U.
**Shocked iyo nuus**
Arabman,
yaa Akhii, Do you not think using the name of Islam to commit such acts is wrong? Look at Iraq, who is the majority of casualties, arent they innocent Muslims some who are praying in Mosques? what legitimizes their actions of killing and bombing mosques filled with innocent civilians.
Basra,
Firstly, Hillary perfers to be called a progressive not a liberal secondly you wrote we should elect her becauses " she can be a Cowboy. She will stand tuff, grab her junk, spit on the floor and look manly mean" Are U serious?
The woman is the biggest Isreali puppet since Joe liberman.
I think that fact that your a lesbo is alturing your decision, you are mesmorized by her.
looooooooooooooooooooooool @ i support obama because he is black. Well, dear, thats not all. He is different and well in tuned with the American and outside world. His policies make sense to me and are rational. Biden is another BUSH BUSH BUSH subxanallah, look at this Iraq/forign policy plans. Wa wareey, wey no dhamatay if Hilary or Biden win the primaries.
On another point, never said I get special feelings hating on women, that was Lil _Cutie.
been ha iga sheegiin nayaa.
