Have you heard anything about the Yaxas around Bardhere (Jubba) becoming more and more violent? I heard people used to swim there all the time, lakin lately I've been hearing stories of a lot of reer Bardhere being attacked and eaten when they're getting water from the river and shid. War maka haysa waxas?

I know in luq, my brothers friend was dragged and eatin...........yaxaas should be hunted and killed.

Dude, this has become common the past decade or so. Before they used to eat Xoolo and shid, but now their maneaters. A couple of my Qarabo in Bardhere have been killed by them. Yes, I say we should hunt them all and kill em. Their meat tastes good too.

Never heard of alligators/crocdiles killing people in Jubba laakin I heard of stories of yaaxaas crawling into peoples houses in places in Shebeellaha when the shebelle river is shallow in the jiilaal season.

It seems the Shaelle river is pretty shallow most of the year, except the rainy season. At least in comparison to the Jubba.
