Does stuttering contribute to violence?

Post by Sir-Luggoyo »

Ppl who stutter - and I mean major stutter - are bound to be more violent. I have this little kid brother who was so sweet and nice, recently he developed stuttering (don't know what triggered) and boy seems enraged everytime he got stuck.

The worst letters that wouldn't come out are "K" "M" and "B", everytime he tries to say something that starts with those letters, his facial expression changes, he gets angry while still struggling with it and his eyes get bulged, if anyone tries to interrupt when he is in that state, or even attempt to finish a sentence for him, he gets physical. Laughing at him is like inviting disaster, he gets temperamental and hits anything that is on his way.
