Then suddenly the person changed the topic to Somalia and it's current state.
I was confused at first, because I didn't see what one had to do with the other, but little did I know that this person was trying to link the two in order to make a point.
The person said something along the lines of....
Catholic Missionaries came to Somalia and tried to get us to change from Islam to be Catholics. It didn't work, Somalis refused to desert their relegion so then "they" started a war on the country. "They" wanted us to be displaced and all over the world so that we would go to them for help and "they'd" turn us to be Catholics/Gaalo. "They" are the one behind everything in Somalia, "they" turned us against eachother.
At the end of this person's spiel I got really angry, how can someone be so stupid???? Then I asked, who is "they" and what proof do you have? and furthermore what in the hell do they get from you being their relegion????
For some reason I remembered it today and it made me laugh really hard.
