will you help your criminal relative escape justice?

for example ur brother, cousin is wanted for rape, murder or for serious robbery, will you help him flee the country and escape justice?
what will u do if you or your close relative was the victim of that person? will you inform authorities of his family who helped him flee? a similar case is unfolding here.

It depends. If I really felt in my heart that he was guilty then as much as it would pain me I would still turn him in. If I didn’t that would make me just as guilty and I couldn’t do something like that to anther family. If I had any doubts than I would just let the legal system take its course. If I felt he was innocent than I would do the best I could to help him escape injustice.

What a dumb question. Do you know how many innocent people are in jail??? american justice system has nothing to do with innocent or not, it has to do with how your lawyer plays the game, what biases the jury hold, and how the judge feels sympathetic in the case, its russian roulette, go try it

Its not about caring for blood more. Its about justice. Do you realize how many innocent people are locked up in American prison systems as we speak? The last estimate I heard was close to 20%. Now that people are using DNA technology to clear their names that percentage may just be a bit higher. If I really felt in my heart my family member was innocent I would do whatever I could to keep him from getting tangled up in the web called our justice system.
