Re: OBITURAY TO THE VICTIMS OF 1984 BORAAME BOMBING
Firstly, it was at the end of '84, not the start. Adwaal and Togdheer were bombed including Buhoodle and later CaabudWaaq.
The Former Information and National Guidanc Minister, Maxamed Cumar Jees (Do not confuse it with Axmed Cumar Jees), toured CaabudWaaq and Awdall to assess the damage and provide reflief. So it's incorrect to say that they didn't provide reliefs.
Here is an old news report:
"The SDR Minister of Information and National Guidance, Challe Col Muhammad Umar Jays, has stated that the provocative Abyssinian attacks on the SDR can never weaken the unity of the Somali people, but will instead heighten the Somali people's vigilance and confidence in the defence of their unity and national identity.
Leading a delegation, Challe Jays last night toured the Ghel Gudut [Central Somalia] region and particularly the areas which recently came under Abyssinian air attack.
At a press conference in Dusamareeb town, he said the Abyssinian attack in Abud Waaq was a violation of international law and intended to harm the unity of the Somali people. Col Muhammad Umar Jays described the air raids on the civil population of Abud Waaq and in villages in Awdal and north-west regions of the SDR, which caused loss of life and property, as inhuman acts and contrary to international law. He called on diplomats accredited to the SDR and the international press to pass on the news to their respective countries."

as for a news conference in Dhusmareeb what does that place has anything to do with awdal any news conference should have been held at the capital or the place where the incident took place. dont flatter urself bro cause they betrayed us big time and i dont blame the somali society a whole for it but for that speicific goverment that was suppose to to look after its citizen. again i dont wanna dwell in history we have moved on but its just sickening.
