SDM, this sort of messed-up mentality is not new and it is still prevalant in most of Somalia, not only in Mudug, even the Carabs used to employ it. The only time this practice was put on hold was during the 70's and 80's when the government introduced security courts for these type of cases.

I think the situation is getting worse by the minute, I heard both of the sides [reer-diini and wagerdhac] men went outside of the city and are gearing up for war. Illahayo kala qabbo dadkaa, we don't need another war, especially in ramadan.

The thing that sucks is that wagerdhac won't turn over their man, because a year ago when the reer-wardheer guy was killed the reer-dalal guy was not turned over, so now wagerdhac is saying it will be the same.

Man we know a wagerdhac war does not stop, so hopefully no war will start.
